Dec 12: How Many Geeks ...

... does it take to remove an SD card?

I was vaguely aware of this picture being taken but hoped Mark Bobac might forget it ;-)

Thanks to all concerned for their assistance.

At least he did not get a picture of you trying to use the teaspoon...oops...I guess I just let that cat out of the bag!

Me? Teaspoon? I seriously don't remember what you're talking about.

But I can take it as well as dish it out, so, feel free to be specific....really, go ahead....

Shortly before you captured the Eric solution that utilised a delicate paper-clip, there were a few moments when I decided that a tea-spoon might be the best implement for this task.

(Or the one that happened to be on the table next to me ... you decide)

Ah, I see, when Dan said "you" I thought he was referring to me, since I had written the previous comment....hence my confusion... :-)

hi Doug,

I really look serious at trying to remove this SD card, I was too serious and thus did not manage :-)

good that it could be rescued!

LOL.

Although Doug gave a great demonstration on his new red VAIO how not to do it (check size SD card before putting it in a memory slot), I have to admit that I did it as well at home in my new WII memory card slot.

;-)

...but at home I tested the removal procedure this time with a nail clipper. I got the idea from James Morle's presentation on how to kill airplane personnel (despite nail clippers might be slow in their effectiveness, it can be a mighty weapon).

LOL

To see how dangerous they can be, see them here in the hands of a professional: http://www.arcadyholistic.ca/blog/nailclippers.jpg
